Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: April 21, 2026

Our commitment to accessibility

DropaSound, a product of Vibe Works Studio LLC, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Measures we have taken

DropaSound has taken the following steps to ensure accessibility:

  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements for keyboard navigation
  • Skip to main content link at the top of every page
  • Descriptive ARIA labels on all buttons, icons, and interactive controls
  • Screen reader announcements for dynamic content changes such as recording status and error messages
  • Colour contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Proper form labels associated with all input fields
  • Semantic HTML landmarks for navigation, main content, and complementary regions
  • Audio players with keyboard-accessible play and pause controls
  • Respect for user preferences including reduced motion settings
  • Alt text on all meaningful images
  • Autocomplete attributes on all form fields to support assistive technology
  • Fieldsets and legends grouping related form controls such as radio button groups
  • Error messages announced to screen readers via ARIA live regions

Conformance status

WCAG 2.1 AA Partially conformant

DropaSound is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts the following areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively working to resolve these:

  • The audio waveform visualisation is decorative and does not convey additional information beyond what is available through the audio player controls
  • The mood studio grid interaction currently requires a mouse or touch — keyboard navigation for the mood coordinate picker is in development
  • Some third-party components including the Stripe payment form may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control
  • Older user-generated content may include audio files without transcripts
